CJP Announces July 25 Nationwide Black-Band Protest — 500+ Colleges Expected

<p>The Cockroach Janta Party has called for a nationwide black-band protest on July 25, 2026, urging students, teachers, and citizens to wear black bands and observe a "Day of Accountability" across all educational institutions.</p><p>Over 500 colleges have confirmed participation, including IITs, NITs, central universities, and private institutions. Student unions in 28 states have pledged support. The protest will feature synchronized 72-second silence observations at 12:00 PM — one second for each of the 72 students who scored perfect marks under suspicious circumstances.</p><p>"This is not the end. This is a movement that will not rest until every demand is met," said the CJP national coordination committee in their statement.</p>
